Every size in every colour is its own product underneath — its own barcode, its own price, its own count. On the till it is still one tile. Tap it and the sizes come up with what is left of each, so you are never promising a 41 you do not have.
The receipt does not say "shoes". It says the style, the colour and the size, and so does the sale in your reports. When you look back at the month you can see that the black 38 sells and the nude 42 does not.
The most common thing that happens in a shoe shop, and the thing most tills handle badly.
The 40 comes back and the 41 goes out. Korvia records both sides against the original sale and works out the difference — whether she pays a little more or you refund a little.
The returned size goes back on the shelf and the new one comes off it, in the same moment. No one has to remember to adjust anything afterwards.
An exchange where nothing changed hands is not lost money. The day close accounts for goods paid with goods, so the day still adds up.
Every receipt carries a barcode. Scan it and the original sale comes straight up — no hunting through the day for what she bought.
Print a copy with no prices on it. The person receiving them can still bring them back for a different size.
Refunds and exchanges are attributed to the person who approved them, and you decide which staff may approve at all.

Only if you want to scan them. Every size already has its own barcode in Korvia, so you can print labels — but a cashier can just as easily tap the style and pick the size.
Stock is counted per shop, and each shop sees its own. If you keep a stockroom, make it its own branch and it is counted like any other. What Korvia does not do yet is let a cashier check another branch's shelf from the till — that is coming.
You keep selling. The sale is held on the iPad and the receipt still prints, because the printer is on your own network. When the line comes back the sales go up on their own.
